The Landscape of the rough reefs
「岩礁」シリーズ

The Landscape of the rough reefs

Sometimes, we can get various feelings when we watch the same landscape. It depends on the weather, objectives and your mood at that moment. One stormy day, visiting the seashore where I have been visited many times. It was a totally different landscape compared with the calm day. Nature teaches us the diversity of itself. For example, the shape of rocks have been created by winds, waves for many years.
I would be happy if you can feel this diversity of nature from this series.
This is one aspect of the magnificence of nature.  (June.30/2017)

 A Mannequin
「マネキン」シリーズ

  A Mannequin

I met a very unique mannequin in a show window case when I was walking Ginza the other day. A purpose of a mannequin is to put on clothes for showing and selling them. This mannequin’s face does not look like a real woman but it looks like a little like anyone you see in the street. We human beings should have so called ”a facial sensor cell” in our brain. With it we receive some information on facial expressions from outside even if it’s a tiny signal. So, we can get various feelings from looking at this mannequin as a real person.  (6/30/2017)
